How do you care for smooth leather?

Care of smooth leather

Smooth leather is relatively easy to care for, but still requires regular cleaning and protection:

Regular cleaning: Smooth leather is a high-quality, smooth leather that should be cleaned regularly to maintain its supple texture. Use Elami Cleaner 01 to gently remove dirt and dust. The cleaner is specially designed to penetrate deep into the leather without damaging the surface or leaving residue.

Greasing : After cleaning, the nappa leather should be treated regularly with Elami Grease 02. This grease protects the leather from drying out, maintains its suppleness and ensures that the leather remains elastic. Unlike conventional leather care products, Grease 02 leaves no greasy residue and offers long-lasting protection without affecting the natural shine.

• If you want to achieve a glossy effect, you can also apply Elami Finisher 03 after using Grease 02. This provides an elegant, glossy look without sealing the leather or impairing its breathability.

Stain treatment : If you find a stain, you should act immediately. Using a soft cloth or sponge and Elami Cleaner 01, you can gently dab away stains without damaging the leather. Avoid aggressive cleaning products that could damage the leather.

Avoid direct sunlight : Direct sunlight can dry out and fade the smooth leather, so store it in a cool, dry place to avoid color changes.

Additional tips:

• Moisture balance : Smooth leather should not be exposed to extreme temperatures or high humidity. If the leather becomes damp, let it air dry, but avoid direct heat sources.
